We went camping in Bryce Canyon two weeks ago.  One afternoon we went to one of the highest points along the edge, elevation 8,700 feet.  While we started to leave in the middle of a lightning storm a bolt of lightning hit us!  It felt as if I touched electric socket.  It was even louder than a gun shot.

When it hit most of the people around us fell.  Then they all started to run up the ramp up to the cars.  I was scared.  I’ll never for get it.
